My wife and I visited Dr. Segal and had some skin spots checked. Dr. Segal's office sent our bill to the wrong address after they had heard back from our insurance company. The first contact we had regarding an outstanding balance was from a collections company who simply called our number on file. The person at the collection office informed me that we owed less than $1500 for services rendered plus a collection fee of over $600. The agent with the collection company said that they didn't even think it was legal for the doctor's office to relay the full collection charge on to the customer. I called Dr. Segal's office to confirm that the bill was correct and ask why they didn't call us about the bill. She said they do not waste time calling people who won't pay their bills and she assured me that they could charge that since the DR's wife is a lawyer. The receptionist was very rude. I will never go near this office again. I would recommend finding a different doctor.

I called the office to inquire about an intial consultation and possible treatment.The lady who answered seemed annoyed that i had called and uninstrested in assisting me with my questions, she gave me the shortest answer possible. I felt almost bad for calling. I scheduled with another office (even though the consult is about $30 more) bc of how unwelcoming she was.
