The Davis Monthan Base Exchange, also known as the Army and Air Force Exchange Service, is located in at Davis Monthan Air Force Base in Davis Monthan, Ariz. Shopping privileges are limited to those who have valid identification cards. The facility has more than 29,000 square feet of selling space and offers in excess of 43,000 items, including a large selection of Arizona souvenirs. In addition to providing a full slate of military clothing and a number of check cashing services, the exchange also offers a service station, theater, Burger King, T-shirt shop, laundromat, snack bar, fun food, class six store, base laundry and dry cleaners, tailor shop, barber shop, beauty shop, flower shop, watch repair shop, optical shop, nutrition center, Mexican imports and a southwestern gift shop and a home and garden center. The Davis Monthan Base Exchange operates Mondays through Saturdays, nine a.m. to eight p.m., and Sundays, 10 a.m. to six p.m.
