Great Place to See and Learn About Our Amazing Desert

If you are curious about what makes our deserts click, tick, rattle, swish, and flap, this is where you can find the answers. Our desert museum has critters and plants identified for you. You'll learn which are friendly and which ones are beautiful from a distance. The most important thing to note is that each is a vital piece in the desert life cycle. Wear comfortable shoes and plan to spend a full day to give yourself time to really appreciate the amazing treasures our desert holds.

This is one of the best places to learn about the sonoran desert. The staff is very knowledgeable about their stuff...we went in September and again in October...utterly fantastic...don't miss the butterfly garden area and the beautiful agaves.
