The best advice I ever received was from a coworker of mine who referred me to American Handyman. Robert with American Handyman was prompt, efficient, knowledgeable and fast! Also giving you alternatives or suggestions for your projects. Speaking of fast....Wow! They are so organized and detailed orientated. They do the job in half the time compared to other fix it men. American Handyman has repaired our plumbing, replaced facets, shower heads, eliminate doggie doors and restored the drywall to it's original state. They have replaced our shower, patched holes and built beautiful shelving in our bedroom closets. We even had them build a ceiling to floor DVD/bookcase in our den, which I always wanted. I couldn't be more happy with the results. American Handyman's latest project was installing a work bench and cabinets in the garage. My husband is very pleased and is enjoying his new work space. I have referred my family and friends to American Handyman. They too, have had a very positive experience and we all have agreed that we will use American Handyman again!! So, don't waste your time and money on a so called "cheaper" fix it man. In the end, you will pay the same price with a more satisfied result and because American Handyman stands behind their service! Jackie A.

After trying to deal with some other companies I finally found American Handyman Service through Thumbtack. What a relief it was to deal with a professional company instead of the inferior companies that fail to show up, give you a bid or just are rude and incompetent. I dealt with Herb and Eric and they were wonderful from the very beginning. They came out the same day that I called them and had a bid to me within hours. The work performed was outstanding and I was very satisfied with the quality and price. The company cleaned up their mess and left everything tip top. I highly recommend this company and will use them for all my project needs. Trust me, you can't go wrong.

My wife's garden tub cold water valve broke(Sunday morning), I know a little about construction so I took a look under it to see what I would have to do. It was that plastic pipe. Every one in the house was upset that we would not have water until Monday. We called American Handyman, in know time at all they replaced the valve and cleaned up after them self's. From this point forward his business card hangs in my garage.Thank you again, BA

These guys are awesome. Friendly, knowledgeable, really care about good customer service. I had Chad and his helper replace the fascia boards on my townhouse this week. They did expert, beautiful work at a very good price. Highly recommended.

We just bought our first home a few months ago and the front door had some major issues. It wasn't stained on the bottom, so it would uptake water and as a result, had warped into more of a potato chip shape. It also wouldn't close properly, had improperly installed hardware, and didn't have weather sealing or a threshold. We bought a new door from Lowes, but needed to have it trimmed, installed, and varnished. Furthermore, we had a lot of questions about other things we may need done around our house. American Handyman Service sent out Chris this morning, and he was absolutely AMAZING! He took all the time needed to trim, install and varnish our new door, as well as to answer all of the questions we had about other things we've noticed around the house. Chris was very professional, personable, and great to work with. We will definitely hire this company again to help us with additional projects around our home! Thank you so much American Handyman Service for your hard work and amazing job! :)

I just had drywall replaced by them and they did an excellent job. I felt the prices charged were very fair and reasonable. I would recommend them and use them again for other jobs.

Unfortunately American Handyman Service cannot guarantee how someone treats their furniture. We did not design or build the furniture and at some point even the best quality product will fail. American Handyman Service did not provide any type of warranty on said repairs.

Had them install 2 five foot glass doors to a very well designed cabinet. A few months later the doors came crashing down as a result of being improperly secured. The glass shattered and sprayed jagged shards all over the family room where my kids were playing. Fortunately no one was hurt but my disappointment with their after the fact caveat of " they do not honor the work they do on something that is not made by them" is deep. All's well with Herb if their are no problems but beware otherwise. . Pick someone else with integrity.

My house was broken into, the security door broken at a weak weld. Herb took the old broken one off and replaced it with a much heavier model in less than 24 hours, and for a very reasonable price. You don't have to worry about quality or integrity, Herb and his team are fantastic!

After my home was broken into, Herb secured and then replaced my damaged security door in less than 48 hours. Very resonable fee. Completely satisfied.

Herb quickly came to my home and we discussed what he could do for me regarding porch ceiling and stucco scupper repairs. The technician (Kevin) who did the work did a nice job, even pointing out some original-construction errors that contributed to the need for current repairs. The tech also came up with a better way to deal with the scuppers than I had originally agreed to, and after reviewing his ideas, I agreed and authorized the new repairs. Overall, I was very pleased with the professional manner in which I was treated and the good work that was done.

They visited and gave a free & reasonable estimate for our fascia repair. The work was done quickly and with expert craftsmanship and they left absolutely no mess!! We are very pleased with their great professionalism!! Thanks!

When our 32 year old bathroom pocket door gave up the ghost, we checked around and found this company to have excellent reviews. We were not disappointed! Our handyman was timely, neat, and did a fabulous job. We will be calling them in the future for other projects that need doing!

Moved to Tucson in March and my new house needed a pocket door. I looked at a number of Handyman services and American Handyman was a great choice. They came out quickly to measure on three things I was considering having done and got back to me very quickly with estimates. After deciding to install a pocket door the wait time was short, and I was called first every time before they came over to do work on it and they were always on time. Truly a great company to deal with and the very nice folks as well. Not many handymen are licensed and bonded as well and that was another great plus. They do great work so feel very confident choosing them for your handyman needs. Thanks for the great pocket door American Handyman!

I have tried many handymen in Tucson and these guys just can't be beat. Showedup on time. Provided excellent workmanship and ethics. I wanted to tack on some extraprojects but the workman couldn't do it because of his next appointment and I really could appreciate that, having done the "when will he be here dance" I'm making a list,. I'm calling back American Handyman!

We got into a home remodeling project that was just never ending. We had windows and light fixtures to replace, kitchen cabinets to install, along with new countertops, including the sink and hardware. We had also started scraping the bathroom ceiling but hadn't finished. AND we wanted to replace our patio door and add a half bath. We had bought most of the materials, had it stacked in different areas of our home, but the only progress we noticed was the gathering dust. We called AMERICAN HANDYMAN SERVICE and they came out fast! Herb and his crew are efficient and professional. Their workmanship is next to none. With their positive attitude and diligent work ethic, all our projects & clean-up were finished in amazing time! Their prices are GREAT and we recommend them for all your fix-it jobs! Thanks Herb and Crew, You gave us our home back!!

These guys are great! I had been using Handyman Connection for all my home repairs, but after three no-show appointments - with no attempts at rescheduling by them when they failed to show - I decided I should find someone else to help with various projects around my house. These guys were on-time, had a great price, and cleaned up their mess! I will only use these guys in the future.

My sliding glass door would not open. Handy Herb was the third company I called. The first company took my information by phone, told me they would call that evening and schedule something for three days later. I never heard from them again. The second company, allegedly providing 24 hour service, never returned the message I left. Herb answered the phone when I called, arrived later that day and fixed the problem. He was polite and did a good job. I would definitely use him again.

We have used Handyman Herb for years. He always shows up on time, does very good work at all of the jobs, and he is courteous, and cleans the work site up well after the job is complete.
