Our family has used Hugh at 88-Drain for a few years. We had been happy with him up until a few months ago. Hugh came out to my grandma's house to fix a faucet. "Trusting" Hugh to be honest... He did the work and my grandma paid him 521.59, being that my grandma is 94 years old and on a very tight budget, I looked over her bill. He did only charge her 95.00 to install the faucet, although he charged her 369.00 for a faucet that I found at Home Depot for 155.00 less(214.00). First of all he did not ask her what kind or how much she wanted to spend on a faucet. She would of been happy with 100.00 faucet... Secondly, why is he charging her 155.00 more for the exact same faucet that I could of bought at Home Depot. I asked him to refund my grandma the 155.00 that was the difference in faucets. He said no. With that being said, Hugh is out to take advantage of people that still have trust in the working man. My family, friends and I will not use 88-Drain or Hugh again.

OK I don't do reviews at all but when I called I had brown in my shower and the toilet wasn't going to flush no matter how many times I used the plunger. This was just the 5th night in my new dream house and I was starting to that it was a nightmare choice. I called 88 Drain and Hugh answered and explained to me that he was booked but he would make time but it would be a bit late, He showed up at about 7:00 pm and had my problem fixed in no more than an hour, as others said he explained everything that he was doing and charged me a fair price. Will I call him back if I have another problem? YES I will.

I had a horrible experience with MR. ROOTER!! I had a main line plug from tree roots. During the time they were at my property to clear the drain, they continued to try and "up sell" me in expensive and frivolous work to be preformed; to the extent of offering me financing!! They said their work was guarantied and would come out for "No Charge" next time. He went on to guarantee that my drain would plug up again, SOON. I opted not to have the extensive work done. The mainline did as expected plugged up in just two days. I call them back for my "No Charge". He came out & basically said nothing could be done for me. I called 88-DRAIN !! They were able to clear the mainline of not one but three root clogs ( that were consequently left previously). 88-DRAIN also reset the toilet once again as previously the wrong size wax ring was used with the tile floor. I HIGHLY RECOMEND 88-DRAIN !!

Originally made the mistake of calling Roto Rooter. They came out three times to fix the same problem...only to keep charging more and still the same problem was not fixed. A friend told me about 88-drain and Hugh came out and identified and cleared the problem with the first visit. He followed up his recommendations for improvements and at a fraction of the price of Roto Rooters quotes! The problem existed at my neighbors also, and 88-drain cleared up their problem too- timely and again at a fraction of what Roto Rooter wanted to charge. Roto Rooter wants ro come back so they can make money, so they do not snake a pipe clear!

Very Very impressed!!! Called at 8am and he was here by 10:30, very knowledgeable and honest! Explained everything he was gonna do and cleaned up after himself and even some of our mess. Very reasonable too...I highly recommend 88Drain!

Excellent service! They came promptly, solved the problem, and only charged me $55. I highly recommend 88 Drain!
