Just received my progressive glasses in less than a week from Dr. Potts. I truly enjoyed my first time appointment with him. He truly takes his time to examine your eyes thoroughly so you can obtain the proper prescription.

Dr. Potts has been giving me excellent care for 15 years. I love the small, family run practice and that each year it is like catching up with old friends when I make my eye appt. They always help me to find frames that fit within my budget and I never feel pressured like I did at Lenscrafters by staff wanting to make a bigger sale. Thanks Dr. Potts for a great eye care experience!

My family and I had been going to Dr. Potts for many years. They are a smaller practice and dont have that many choices of frames. I had stopped by Lenscrafters to pick out a pair of frames that I knew Dr. Potts wouldnt have in stock. The girl at Lenscrafters needed to know what my prescription was in order to see if my prescription would work in the frames I liked. Lenscrafters called Dr. Potts to ask what their fax number was so they fax over a release form with my authorization. Mrs. Potts said they can’t fax patients prescriptions and that she doesnt know who she was and hung up on the Lenscrafters lady. I called back and Mrs. Potts said she never would hang up on anyone (I was standing right there)and would mail it out to me. I was only 3 miles away so I called Mrs. Potts back and said I would just pick it up. Upon arrival Mrs. Potts started explaining to me about I have a difficult prescription and that Lenscrafters is just a "store". At this point nothing had changed, Dr. Potts was still my eye doctor and so I saw no need for Mrs. Potts to try and "sell" me on them and so I said and I quote, "Let me stop you right there" (as there was no need for her to say anything, all was ok.) But she didnt like me telling her to "stop" and she handed me my script proceeded to tell me to leave and then Dr. Potts popped out from around the corner and told me to leave also. I cannot believe after all these years that they would treat a customer like that (I said that to them and Dr. Potts said I wasnt a customer, I was patient. I can tell you this much, not any more Im not). After the 2 of them yelling at me to get out for just wanting my script. Very bad business ethics.
