Who writes a 3 page review? Obviously this person (fun fun fun) is not all there, and his/her rambling nonsense is evident of such. I have employed the services of Kim D Johnson on multiple occasions, and I have not lost a case once. I'll repeat.... I HAVE NOT LOST A CASE ONCE. Kim is DILIGENT, KNOWLEDGEABLE, and most important AFFORDABLE !! During these harsh economic times, I was able to maintain quality legal services by Kim through a payment schedule (after retainer was paid). Definitely if you are up against the wall and desire/need legal representation, check this lawyer out, you WILL NOT regret it!

I am writing this review because I dont want anybody else to go thru what I have with this attorney. He is not a fighter at all. He charges extravagant fees for miniscule tasks. He even charges for minor clerical work. He bills unreasonable fees for simple form pleadings. He bills for every stamp, fax, email , envelope and phone call pertaining to your case. During your divorce, if you are paying all the marital debt yourself, he will tell you:"it's not that much", if you end up paying child support with joint custody with equal overnights, he will tell you :"its not that much", he was not supportive or interested in the short sale of my marital home he felt I should just let it go into foreclosure. If your child (minor, elementary aged)receives poor nutrition while with your ex, he will tell you "college kids eat pizza everyday". He had me show up to court(take a day off work) when hearings were adjourned because he forgot to call me. My ex was even telling me I need a new lawyer. FEMC report: he received it and never called me, I had to read that important document regarding custody at my next court date!!. FOC: he did not subpoena my exs income (like I asked), so my ex provided false docs and Im paying child support. Never told me to check with the FOC regarding taking child support out of my check, he told me to send them a check then they will start taking money from my check. Well, I did that and they had no record of my case(MISDU). Turns out the other attorney never had it signed by the judge, now I am paying arrears!! It seemed like he is working for my ex not me. Never inforced my status quo order at all. He did not care about my case at all just cared about me paying him. I had multiple cases (lawyers) to pay (cuz I married a jerk), but Mr. Johnson told me in front of other people at court"every lawyer in town is getting paid but me", silly me for thinking staying out of jail (bogus DM and harassment case, bogus probation violation) was important!.He doesnt obejct to anything in court. One time I had to speak (over him) and he got mad! Upon firing him, he sent a copy of my alleged outstanding balance to my new attorney, WHY?, that could have lessened my chances of obtaining adequate representation. He asked my new attorney to place a lien on any money I would obtain from my divorce. Now he is taking me to court over this alleged, overcharged, outstanding balance.. When I fired him he would not ,release my file to my new attorney because of my outrageously overcharged balance which caused my new attorney to bill me more for having to figure out my ugly divorce case without a file. I could go on and on, but I am going to stop here.So, if you want to "protect your home" and "protect your children", keep searching for an attorney.
