South Elementary School serves students in grades three through five and is located in Tracy, Calif. Its students have access to computers and Internet in their classrooms. The elementary school is a part of the Tracy Unified School District, which serves more than 16,500 students and operates several high, middle and elementary schools. The school district also offers various magnet programs, including performing arts and gifted and talented student programs that challenge gifted and high-potential students to achieve high academic standards and develop creative thinking skills. In addition, it helps students to develop independent and cooperative learning habits and positive peer interaction skills.
