I’ve been using Vinson at Towson for 15 years. They have provided marvelous care. Dr. Smith is a particularly talented diagnostician. The other vets and the staff are professional and excellent in every way in my experience.

Vinson's is a fantastic Animal Hospital. They are by far the most compassionate and caring vet we've ever been to. I've had dogs my entire life and used to go to another vet until a few years ago.



We started taking our lab to Vinsons towards the end of his life and they were so welcoming and understood how hard it was to let him go. When our dog finally passed they sent a card in the mail with a personal note from vet who took care of him.



We eventually got another puppy and he was terrified of everyone and everything in the office, even the fish tank. The vet performed his entire exam sitting on the ground with our little guy. Now our dog loves going to vet to see his new friends. And to this day our vet still gets down on the ground and practices tricks with our dog. Everyone in the office just adores their patients.



Fantastic place and I will continue to go there as long as I have a dog!!!

I have 2 dogs and took them for their annual wellness check up and ended up paying $649 WITHOUT being forwarned by Dr. Foster. They did a lot of tests that I was not told about and did not agree too. The tests really racked up the bill. I will never take my animals to this vet.

I've been going to Vinson's since I got my first cat, almost 16 years ago, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. (For after-hours emergencies, I have gone to a local 24-hour hospital, which I won't name, and I found fault with both the staff and the quality of care.) Drs. Forester, Smith, and Kakel are superb, as are the vet techs and the front-desk staff. Everyone is knowledgeable, dedicated, compassionate, and warm. I cannot say enough good things about this place; it's one reason why I stay in Baltimore even though I work in/commute to DC.
