I am a vet tech and had a tough case come in where a dog needed surgery and possible blood transfusion. I called the office that day since i had an evening group to alert them it was possible I would not make it in depending on how the surgery went. I called a total of 3 times that day when I could provide updates and finally calling by 3:02 in the afternoon I couldn't make it to my appointment. I have received a $50 Bill because I couldn't alert them in 24 hours. Emergencies happen and i am very upset that even though I kept them updated through out the day and make every effort to notify them they could care less. I would understand a no call no show, but 3 times I reached out.
