GOOD PRICE but HORRIBLE PRODUC...

GOOD PRICE but HORRIBLE PRODUCT and SERVICE! I hope you take my advice, save yourself the headache I went through, and stay away from this place.



I contracted this team to replace the granite on my kitchen countertops and island in my newly built home.



This was such a horrible job...where do I begin?



1. They arrived early without calling me and started carelessly busting out the countertops while my builder's contractors were working. My builder called me in disarray because I had not closed on my home yet.

2. Because they were careless, while removing the old material, they hit the adjacent wall and made a huge hole in the wall of my brand new home. They also damaged my premium backsplash.

3. They did NOT clean up after the job was "complete" leaving very large pieces of my old surface in ALL my cabinets and dust everywhere!

4. After granite installation, they DID NOT RESEAL my counter surface, leaving a .5" gap between the granite and backsplash. When I called them about it, they said I was responsible for that...all they do is installation. So water could get everywhere!!!

5. We discussed where the cut/seam would be based on my layout, and they were not supposed to have a cut/seam in the back of my sink, however, the granite was cut such that a visible seam stares at me every day.

6. They told me up front that I was on my own to call a plumber to reconnect the sink, however, they threw away or misplaced a clamp that should have been on the sink and I had to repurchase from the plumber.

7. They did not tell me the plumber needed to reconnect the stove as well, so I didn't find that out until I went to prepare dinner for my family for the first time. I had to recall the plumber to my residence for an additional $100.



Those are the top items that come to mind, but I'm sure there were more. This was by far the worst contracting service I have seen. I guess I got a low paid and paid the difference in heartburn and fixing it.



Because I was so persistent and called the owner, they came and sealed the sink, tried to fix the backsplash (although some of it is still slightly damaged) and paid me $190 for the plumber costs, but that isn't a drop the pool of headache, lost time at work, etc. I had to endure.



I would rather pay $1000 more and get a quality job done with peace of mind.

I was not happy with their cus...

I was not happy with their customer service. They also tried to charge us double when we asked them to come back to install more tile.
