I called them out this saturday when I was having trouble getting ahold of plumbers and they had their guy out in an hour. He fixed my leaking water heater and didn't charge me for being out on a weekend.

I called Daniels Plumbing out on a Saturday to fix a leak and they were at my house within the hour. The technician, Mike G. was very kind and had my leak fixed in no time. I like the fact that this company is family ran and really cares about the customer. They have my business from now on and I will be recommending them to friends and family.

I gave them 2 stars on expertise just because I don't know yet if the pipe was repaired correctly.
On Promptness they were 2 hours late.
On Professionalism they should get 0 stars if it were possible.

I am out of state so my renter contacted them about a leak under the kitchen sink. They said that a plumber would be there between 8 and 10 am. the following morning.
He showed up at noon. 2 stars for at least showing up.
He estimated the job at $375!!
My dad was there to make payment when the job was done. At this point he called me and put the plumber on the phone.
He explained that he would have to go under the home and use his pvc pipe and that's why it was that much.
So he would have to go 3 feet under the outside edge of the
2-1/2 foot high mobile home and use about 50 cents worth of supplies and that's why it was so much!

So now I was ready to send him on his way when he then agreed to drop the price. He asked what I wanted to pay, $100?
I said no that about $200 would probably be a little high but fair enough. He said he would drop it to $275. I agreed.
He spent less than a half hour on the job and I was told he did all the work inside the house. And the real reason that I'm writing this with such a low rating is that when he went to collect from my dad who was talking to a neighbor across the street he was constantly complaining about how I jewed him down on all the work he had to do. How professional is that?

We called Daniels Plumbing after a co-workers recommendation to diagnose a leak on our toilet upstairs. They came, drilled a hole on our ceiling in the kitchen directly downstairs and found no problem and determined that the leak was from the base of the toilet. The description they put in the invoice is "Found glue joint was bad at toilet flange, replaced flange and reset toilet". For this work, they charged us $625!! My husband and I were not at the house when they came so my father-in-law thought he needed to pay which he did using his credit card. We found this to be unfair given that they worked on it for only an hour and a half and the cost of the materials is minimal. I called the office 4 times and I was only told the owner will be calling me back. The next day the owner called and told me he will talk with the technician and that the office will call me back to let me know the outcome. As expected, they never called me back so I called the following week, and they said they will credit us $150. After checking, they actually only put back $100 into our credit card. When asked why, they said they never told me they were going to credit me $150. This is a complete lie. They also told me it was their number 1 technician that came out which I think is irrelevant to the issue of them overcharging. Any good plumber will not charge $300 an hour to replace a toilet flange. We think this is an unfair charge for the amount of work performed and especially that they left us a hole in our ceiling that we now have to get fixed for another couple hundred dollars. It is unfortunate that we have to resort to other avenues to make their bad practice known simply because they were very hard to negotiate with. They are quick to respond when called for work but are definitely not easy to talk to (if you can even get to talk to the right person) after the work has been done and they have received payment. We feel we have been taken advantage of by Daniels Plumbing and because of this we will never go back to them nor will we be recommending them to anyone.

I submitted a request through their website on a Tuesday morning. By Thursday morning, I still hadn't heard anything back from them so I called. I was told they never received my request. Fair enough I thought, computer systems can glitch. The lady said they would have someone out the next day between noon and 5pm. My wife decided to use a half day of vacation and be back home by noon on Friday. At 2pm Friday, I called to verify someone was coming out and again, the lady informed me that one of the techs would be contacting me soon. 4:45 rolls around, still no word from anyone at Daniels Plumbing. I call again, the lady informs me that the tech has been having phone problems, but that that she would contact him and they would be there. Nobody ever showed up or even bothered to call me back. Saturday morning, 11:30, I call again, I get the answering service. I leave a message with them asking to please have someone from Daniels Plumbing please call me back......nobody calls. Now it's Sunday afternoon and I will have to plan another vacation day to have someone come out. I've had crappy customer service from Dish network before, but at least they called me back. I never heard anything back from Daniels Plumbing. Mike Daniels, I hope you read this and work on what ever your dispatch problem is. Good Luck with your business, I will never call your office again.
