We have adopted 2 animals from The Toledo Animal Shelter. One was a cat and the other is our dog, Stella. The people were friendly and caring, requiring that I bring my other dog to make sure the two dogs hit it off. Everything was clean. The animals are our beloved pets now.

Ive had many run ins with this shelter and none have been good... Ive volunteered and fostered, and adopted. My kitten died the next day and when I adopted 7 years later the cat attacked my daughter and when I called and asked then to help they said I had to pay them to take him back??? Helen was very rude. It wasnt very clean and smelled awful. If your looking for a great adoption place try Paws and Whisker cat shelter, they are the only no kill and none profit cat shelter in toledo!!!
