Tom is a true watch enthusiast. His shop is definitively old school. After purchasing a vintage Omega wristwatch, I was not sure whom I could trust with it. I was wary to just leave such an item with a cash for gold shop which does watch repairs on the side. When I walked into Tom's business, I felt almost immediately that he is a trustworthy guy and that he would to an excellent job. Tom restores vintage watches regularly, and sells them as well. He even had a few watches which were similar to the one which I had brought in, so I was reassured that he knew what he was doing. My preliminary expectation was that a repair to a vintage Omega which was keeping very bad time would set me back somewhere around $100. Tom did it for $50. I could not recommend him enough and I feel that I will be a long-term customer.
