Goodwill Industries International Inc. is an independent community based organization that provides various training programs and employment for disabled people. Founded in 1902, it operates more than 165 independent organizations in the United States and Canada. The organization offers job training, employment placements and other services to people with disabilities, lack of education, job experience or who face employment challenges. It caters to the needs of youth, seniors, veterans, immigrants and people with criminal backgrounds. Based in Toledo, Ohio, the organization also provides outsourced labor and contract services to commercial as well as federal sectors. Its list of employers includes General Motors, Whirlpool, Dell, SC Johnson, Kodak and Ford.

Visited 1/12/14, and thought the store was very stripped down, compared to six months ago. Poor selection. I was in the store about a half hour and I noticed two customers come in, go get a clerk, the clerk would then go into the back rooms, come out with merchandise. Then the clerk and the customer would go to the register and presumably the customer paid for the merchandise.. So, it appears that merchandise will be held back for customers, can't say for sure because I didn't really hear any conversation...but this is what it appeared to be. Perhaps you can cozy up to the employees and they will help you find what you are looking for. Personally, I recommend skipping this store, there are other thrifts in the area more deserving.
