I will never buy from this store..not interested in making people happy . i was sent a plant from my son on Mothers Day. I was working so offered to go in and pick it up.. I got there waited 15 mins till they found it. she got it from the design room . gave it to me in a cardbord box. no gift paper, it looked half dead .. I was shocked and disappointed in the plant and the presentation.. What happened to this flower shop? used to be good.. not its just not good.. had to pull it apart and replant it was old stock.. not happy.. and i am a floral designer and expected better

My husband and I rushed to town for a funeral and stopped to purchase a plant or flowers for them to deliver to the funeral home. What a great selection! They delivered an outstanding arrangement I was proud to have my name on. We will use them again and again for any Toledo flower needs.

After over 37 years of being a loyal customer, my family received a large Peace Lilly from Bartz that did not quite live up to expectation. The plant was sent for the funeral services of my Father-in-Law. My Mother-in-Law, who has a "green hand" (forget green thumb), took the plant home. Now, not quite two months later, she told me the leaves where turning yellow. I know how well she can take care of plants, because she has plants that are years old and that includes other Peace Lilies, I told her to call Bartz. They first told her she must have over watered or under watered the plan. She denied it and hung up upset. I called back, spoke with the local manager and explained more details of the situation and the fact that she would have to pay some one to bring her out there to return the plant for their inspection as they requested. She's in her 80's and doesn't drive. I do not live there, nor does any other family members. Well, after calling the regional manage, the manager called me back and said they would pick up the plant, inspect it and, if they felt there was a problem with the plant they would replace it. But they would charge a delivery fee of $9.95 plus tax. For her to pay that, she may as well pay someone to take her there. I asked if they could just pick the plant up the next time they delivered in the area. I was told we were getting a deal because they were just charging for one delivery fee. Like I said, we have been using Bartz since my husband passed over 37 years ago. This is just to remind you, if you think being a loyal, long time customer to a business means anything, think again. The first time you have a problem to be solved, they will solve it to the companies best interest.

I called Bartz today looking for suggestions for gifts to send my husband. I told them I realized that men weren't all that wild about getting flowers, but that I wanted to send something nice for our anniversary. The gal on the phone gave me a whole list of suggestions. I wound up picking some sort of man basket with beer and nuts and candy. My husband called to thank me and said all the guys in the office went nuts. Thank you for going the extra mile and not treating me like an idiot when I called not knowing what to send.

I waited til the last minute to order flowers for my mother's birthday. Bartz went above and beyond to get my order delivered to her the same day. When my mom received the flowers she raved about how beautiful they were. Great service and Great arrangments. I LOVE THEM!

I decided to send two dozen red roses to my wife on Valentine's Day from Bartz Viviano. After going to the store and pointing at exactly what I wanted sent all I had to do was wait...or so I had thought. Bartz Viviano decided to deliver pink and yellow roses instead. After buying flowers from them for years I called the store to talk about what happened but was told the manager was to busy to take the call but would call back. I don't understand how time can't be taken by a manager to take a call from a dissatified customer and further don't understand how the manager can choice not to return the call at all. Thinking a break in communication may have occurred I sent a detailed message to them through the Bartz Viviano website. Once again I did not receive a response.



Apparenly courtesy is not as important to those at Bartz Viviano as the dollar is. If a simple conversation is to difficult for them to handle then I suggest anyone thinking about buying flowers find another store.

Ugh.

I ordered an arrangement online for a guy friend who recently lost a close family member. My order contained specific instructions to use darker flowers (meaning no bright pink) and instructions to call him to make the delivery. They failed to do either, and I ended up having to pick the flowers up myself to deliver them, which completely defeated the purpose of paying so much for flowers that weren't even what I wanted.

Despite having received nice flowers from BV in the past, I won't be returning after this experience.

i recently bought a dozen pink roses with a vase and everything. the roses didnt take in much water n dried out. i called bartz viviano and they told me to come in with the roses and they would replace them. when i brought them in they were very courteous and told me they would have new roses ready in ten minutes for me. they didnt have the same roses in stock, so they gave me the choice of waiting a day or two, or picking a different color. I chose to go with a different color. These new roses have opened up twice as much in half the time. I am very thankful for their professionalism and for being so helpful. For a florist i would not have expected them to actually replace everything just like that. i called to ask them if there was anything they could do. I would recommend them for your next flower purchase

Everyone who works for the company, from the sales staff through the delivery men are professional yet warm and attentive. The flowers can not be beat, they last longer than any others and the styles are modern and creative yet still classy. I will be a loyal customer for a long time!

Roses--for my wife

I love this store--yes, a guy. It has beautiful arrangements to look at and the flowers are always nice and fresh. Usually though I just buy roses for my wife.
