I have waited 10 days for the furniture I ordered to be delivered. They called me last week to confirm the delivery.

They called an hour ago to say they would be here. Then they call again to say they aren't delivering because 'there are low power lines on my street.'

I tell them 'okay, I am 2 doors down from a corner, the other street is a 2 way. They refuse to deliver, now stating that all of the streets around me are too narrow. A 2 way street with parking on one side is too narrow??? What an absolute crap company.

Now I guess I have to wait until they return the furniture and find someone who uses another delivery company to buy my furniture from. A company who will actually deliver the furniture, not come up with excuses after I wait nearly 2 weeks.

I don't know how they're even in business considering they don't do their damned jobs! If you are expecting a delivery from this company, count on a phone call from them saying you have to come get your items because they won't deliver to you. They are getting paid to deliver, but make customers pick up their items instead of delivering as they are supposed to.

UPDATE: They now have their employees going around posting fake 5 star reviews.

After 2 phone calls from a man at ABF where he said power lines are too low for their shortest trailer, so I told him to go down the other street that I am literally one house down from. Then he said it is only one person delivering and it will be really hard for that one guy because the box is heavy. Then said they will try, but they don't know when he'll be here.

I just got a message from the woman again, again stating they will not deliver because the power lines are too low. I just walked to the corner, which I am only one house down from. THERE IS A SEMI SITTING ON THAT STREET RIGHT NOW.

If they can't manage to get their truck down the street, maybe they should rent a U-haul. This is a bunch of crap!

I just moved here from San Diego. I worked DELIVERY for 2 years. The roads THERE are narrow. We weren't allowed excuses. We figured it out and got our work done.

They say Amazon doesn't realize the streets and roads they have to deliver to around here. The actual problem is they don't have the right equipment to deliver on these streets. You know the city, you know the streets, you know you can't deliver all over the city with freaking semis. Cancel your contract with Amazon or get proper equipment!

They just like collecting the delivery fee and telling people around here they have to come get the items themselves. They get their delivery fee and don't have to deliver. This is the company, not the drivers.
