I have been seeing Flaherty for a decade and he is the best Dr. I have had.

I have been waiting for over a week to get a refferal for a specialist. Smh. At this time I have decided to change medical facilities. This is not the first time I have had to wait for a referral or a response from this office. The staff is more than rude and loud. They carry on in the office as though no one can hear them. The last visit I had to endure gossip about a staff member by two other staff members. Unbelievable! They have no professionalism at all. This office at the one in Port St John ate run by the same company. Health first I laugh because the patients health is the last thing this company puts first. Train your staff and start putting patients first. I will go else where, where I my health and well being will come first.

This facility needs updating. The waiting room is painted a depressing brown. It is dirty and dingy. The chairs are (for the most part) caved in. I found only one I could sit on. Catherine, at the front desk, was courteous and cheerful. However, I have come seeking to see Dr. Malone 3 times in the last year and have walked out because of the long wait, made even more unpleasant (and discourteous to a patient) by the horrible waiting room.

Today, I had an 11.30 appointment. I arrived on time, promising myself that if this time I were not introduced to see the doctor within one half hour, I would leave. At noon, I was still waiting. I have not met her yet and will probably seek another medical facility and doctor. I regret this as Dr. Malone may be a very fine physician working in an abysmal environment. Who knows?! I do not recommend Royal Oak Medical Center for the reasons I have just named. I hope there will be improvement.

After 16 years of going to this facility and 8 yrs of seeing Dr Deborah Malone I was discharged for no reason and told they would not even abide by the Patient Abondment law that says they have to provide an additional 30 days of care and prescriptions to allow the patient to make other arrangements. If you are considering going to this facility or their Pt St John location I would highly advise you to find somewhere else where the doctors believe and practice the oath they took to become a physician.

First of all, one star is way too much. I went to Royal Oaks Medical Center on June 23rd, 2015 because Of throat pain and what seemed to be a blister on my tonsil. All the Doctor did was look in my mouth and she didn't even take medical tests. I was told the "blister" is normal and I need to follow up in about 2-4 weeks for any changes to it. I knew it wasn't normal because of the pain I was going through so I decided to go to the hospital, where they diagnosed me with Strep Throat. I went back to Royal Oaks Medical Center to try and get reimbursed for my money they took. She told me she couldnt refund me my money because of what was on the charts. And I should have came back to them if there was any changes. I decided not to go back because I knew something was wrong and I was Misdiagnosed. So basically Royal Oaks got free money for no job done.

Worst medical experience I've had. I don't usually even write reviews like this but I left very angry. I first get to the desk and the employees are laughing with each other and don't even awknowledge me until a minute later. Then I get in the waiting room where I waited over an hour to see the nurse practioner. She was very rude. I came in wanting to get help for my attention deficiency that I may have and have never been diagnosed but wanting to see if I have it. It was more like an interrogation. The way she was asking questions was more like she didn't believe I had any problems and was smart about it. She treated me like I was faking it and it was very unprofessional, asking me questions like why I've never done anything for it before and the reason because my mother didn't want me on anything like that. But her tone was very rude. Then after what seemed like an interrogation she tells me she can only refer me to someone. I've just never been treated like that by a health care worker and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

I was there today and can say I'm so sorry I did not take the time to get everyone's name just to make sure I thanked them personally. From reception to intake to the Dr. who treated me, Thank You So Much! I have been there before and my experience was good but not as good as it was today, once again THANK YOU!!

I would not take a sick dog to this place!! Wait time for wheel chair bound patient who has an appointment is over an hour and if I mention it they put me in a room for another 2 hours before I am seen by a PA. Then It's another hour to get a prescription. This happens EVERY time I go there! The Pa can't write any rx for pain meds. Now I should go back to see a real doctor to get it refilled! The doctor I see is the quack from hell. NO phone calls are ever returned. They are to be open until 7:00pm. Went there at 6:00 and the place was locked up! This place should close up and let a real clinic take over. I have found a new doctor who is the bomb! I don't wait and she is up on everything and really cares about my health. Had to leave a rating. Trust me I wouldn't give one star!

When I made an appointment I didn't realize that it was also a walk-in clinic. After waiting for 1 and 1/2 hours I decided to leave. It became obvious that having an appointment made no difference.

waste of time

I called ahead of time to ask if they accept Medicare sense I am disabled they told me yes. I went for my appointment and spent 40 minutes filling out their paperwork when I returned it to the desk and ask for my insurance card I gave them my Medicare and they then proceeded to say no they won't accept it because there's a 20 percent patient fee and since I have Medicaid as a secondary insurance they will not accept me. I said I would pay the 20 percent in cash and they still refused me. that makes no sense to me unless they just want to hike up the rates to the other insurance companyS. I said so you don't accept cash and she said no. I hopped out of there and came back home P.O. .. B.S. WASTE OF TIME. and I already cancelled my other appointments because I told them I was switching all of my primary care of it to them ahead of time on the phone call when she said she accepted my Medicare. I guess they need to train their staff better!
