This is my regular neighborhood car wash. I also had them detail a friend's black VW Passat that was BADLY oxidized--not to mention that I had backed into a big chain and scratched the heck out of the trunk lid. It looked horrible. I looked into repainting it, but that was thousands. I got a quote from a high-end detail shop down the street that specializes in black cars (Conejo Auto Detail). Their quote to buff it out and do everything short of repainting it was kinda steep.



The guys at Simoniz gave me a much lower price (I can't remember how much either quote was). I figured the car would look somewhat better, somewhat presentable. When they finished, I could not believe my eyes. There was very little trace of the oxidization. The deep scratches in the trunk were virtually erased. It helped us sell the car very quickly!



The reason I trust these guys is that they once accidentally got a piece of the chrome nameplate on another car caught on a rag and ripped part of the nameplate off. I didn't notice it until at least a day or two later, but was certain they had caused it. I took it back to them, and the manager agreed to pay for the trim replacement without argument. I ordered the part; they paid for it and installed it!
