I was looking for a gym equipment that I can use in a daily basis. The guy assistant here led me to the cycling session and recommended a spinner. I was happy with the recommendation made.

Oldy but goody for the sports enthus. in the area. Our family has gone to Big 5 forever so it is great to see they are still around. Sports Chalet just built a store close by that probably hurts their business. To be fair I did try Sports Chalet 1 time & it was nowhere near as good in selection of gear, especially the odds n ends things.Still prefer Big 5 & hope they can weather the storm of the new competition because they are always nice, helpful & price competitively. And again to be fair no, I have not compared prices very carefully between these 2 mega sports shops so don't know for sure which is the best but I'm sure they are forced to compete fairly rough to stay in business.If I remember the next time we need supplies, we will bite the bullet & go for Sports Chalet & maybe post a better review on here for ya'll some time. For now though I highly recommend Big 5. At least for Thousand Oaks sports buyers.
