Take your banking business elsewhere!

This branch delivers in excusably awful customer service.

I am a long-time Whitney Bank client and intended to move my business account from Capital One to Whitney.

I own and operate a busy restaurant and our merchant credit card fees alone would have generated sizable revenue for Whitney.

My husband and I arrived at 11:45 AM and the business banking representative told me their computers automatically shut down 15 minutes prior to closing.

They continued to service other customers so clearly their computers worked just fine.

Our other three accounts with Whitney were opened at their Sherwood Forest branch in Baton Rouge.

I contacted their location and was told their systems absolutely DO NOT shut down 15 minutes prior to closing and what likely happened is that particular employee shut his computer down early and was too lazy to reboot.

I called the Thibodaux branch back to get their manager's name and contact information and was HUNG UP ON after identifying myself as the customer who just left.

If this is how they treat customers of 15+ years with substantial money invested, don't expect any degree of service from the Thibodaux branch if you're contemplating opening a new account.
