David W. Strausser, M.D. is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon who specializes in the surgical treatment of spinal disorders. Dr. Strausser was born in York, Pennsylvania and graduated MAGNA CUM LAUDE with a Bachelor’s Degree from Shippensburg University. He received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine where he graduated with High Honors. He completed his residency training in orthopedic surgery at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Strausser then completed fellowship training in spine surgery at the Texas Back Institute in Plano, Texas. Dr. Strausser specializes in the treatment of cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine related disorders. His practice philosophy emphasizes excellence in patient evaluation and treatment. He believes in the importance of maximizing non-surgical care and obtaining an accurate diagnosis prior to initiating any form of surgical treatment.
