I read these reviews ahead of time and was very nervous about them, however we had done a small order before and it turned out well. After confronting both Lucy and Victor with the online reviews, they reassured us of their business, their customer service. We had a big order, as we just bought a new house. We ended up ordering about $14k worth of furniture. Vic requested I pay only for that furniture he had confirmations on which was about $4,700. Once he confirmed the rest, I sent him a check overnight. Victor said that the furniture would be available to be shipped to our house by the next weekend. By the time Wednesday rolled around, we got confirmation they would be there Friday to deliver most of the furniture and Saturday to deliver the rest. Come Friday, ALL of the furniture was delivered! Both Lucy and Victor came to make sure everything went smoothly. The furniture was flawless, quality and what we ordered. Would definitely recommend and will do business with again!

Customer Service is worse than your thoughts. I wasted 4 weeks with owner and he has been misleading me with different dates for delivery and prices. Horrible service. You have to follow up on every item and his attitude is like he is giving you something for free. PATHETIC !!!!! I ended up cancelling my order. Wish i had read these reviews before and stayed away from this place !!

NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE! DON'T GET SCAMMED TOO!

When we purchased a new home we needed tons of new furniture. The prices at Lucy Furniture seemed lower and I figured I'd use them. I had bought a bed from them last year and it took forever to get and was the WRONG one when I finally got it. But, being the optimist I am, I figured it was a one time mistake on their part. But I gave them another shot and the word nightmare hardly does justice to describe my experience! I ordered $7000 worth of furniture! Paid upfront! The owner was all smiles and promises, well, until the check cleared. After about a week random pieces of furniture started getting to the "store". We picked them up, all went well. After the first delay of 2 weeks on the next delivery they brought me someone else's dresser. Then a week later after I had to call tons of times to even get someone to answer, I'm told our couches that were supposed to take 2 weeks would now take 4-5 weeks! I tried to keep my cool and be patient, but the owners attitude was outrageous! No sorrys, no accepting fault...just condescending excuses! I waited it out and after 5 weeks, when the celebratory day of finally getting the couch (1 of 2) came... THE LEGS WERE MISSING! One more week goes by and couch number 2 is supposed to arrive... I get told (after I call of course!) it will be yet another week! Finally I have canceled my order and asked for my money back. Best part... I found the exact couch, at the same price, available to pick up tomorrow! Yay! Lucy Furniture is a joke! They're too preoccupied taking layaway payments from lowlifes to have time to fulfill paid orders. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for a bargain. There are hundreds of furniture dealers in Dallas. I'm now using SAMs Furniture in Ft. Worth. They keep their furniture IN STOCK.

I searched on-line and no prices compared to what Lucy's offered for the same item. I saved hundreds of dollars! I have to admit that this made me weary initially and wondered that there was a reason for that. I really wanted to purchase a higher quality leather sofa and love seat. They sold one of the well known brands that would be considered "higher quality" and were selling the model I liked. I went in-store to see them and I wanted to put a name with a face. If you keep in mind this is a store front and simply a comfortably place to house the incoming merchandise ordered by customers you will understand better why it is set-up the way it is. Lucy's is basically a "mom and pop" locally owned company, and they are what you call loaners, which basically means they sell their merchandise directly from the manufacturer. Meaning, that the product is NOT in-store but you order it and it is shipped from the manufacturer's warehouse wherever that may be and so that is why the shipping windows are different and vary. I had read some negative reviews and asked many questions to the owners Victor and Lucy and they were very forthcoming and accommodating in answering the questions for me. After the list of questions it helped put my mind at ease and better understand their side of the business, so to speak. After my three year old asked to eat Victor's snack he had set to the side and you can imagine my surprise when he gave it to him. Victor was incredibly nice about it (I might add), I knew then that they were different and sincere. I decided to place my order and the window was 2 weeks and while it took more like 4 weeks, it was well worth it because of the money I saved on buying it through them. I called Victor periodically and he called me with updates. It all varies on the manufacturer, and if you know that going in and are prepared to wait for it based on what that timeline is it is worth it in my opinion. I LOVE my new furniture and paid the $50 delivery fee to have them ship it to me and I could not have been more pleased with them. I was surprised when Victor and Lucy delivered it themselves to ensure that all went okay. I was touched by his professionalism and he treated me like family. While I was in store the phone rang consistently and past customers came in to pay on their accounts and they seemed to like the payment options they offered for all income levels. I personally paid with a check to receive an additional discount on my purchase.

DON'T BE FOOLED BY DISCOUNT PRICES. From the moment you pull up and walk in, you'll know what I mean. The place of "business" is disgustingly dirty, the man walks around with no shoes on and his nasty feet showing (really?) and customer service is NOT in their vocabulary. I ordered a full size box springs from them (thankfully I saw enough to only order this item, as I was ordering much more furniture), and I heard them over and over again answering the phone to tell customers "you're order is delayed, I'm sorry I did not call you back, I did not get your message, etc". They did the same thing to me. Paid cash in full for my box springs and never received a call when it came in. They charged me $25 for some random people to come deliver it (literally the dropped it inside my door and left) and I had to hassle them to death to get it delivered. HORRIBLE SERVICE. HORRIBLE FOLLOW UP. HORRIBLE WAY TO DO BUSINESS. Go elsewhere. I shopped at www.i35furniture.com and they know how to run a business. Will never shop with Lucy Furniture again.

Do not buy from Lucy Furniture...

Do not buy from Lucy Furniture. I ordered a living room set and bed. Paid in full (since they only accept cash or check). They told me the date I would receive it which was still a week after I moved into my new home. I never received a call from them so I called on my own. When I finally got in touch with the owner, he told me that only a portion of my furniture was in. I made (and I mean I threatened to sue) them deliver what they had for free with the understanding that the rest (sofa, bed, etc.) would be delivered 3 weeks later (yes THREE weeks later). Well, here it is 3 weeks later and I never received a call. I had to call AGAIN on my own and was told, "oh, yes, your stuff is here and we can deliver it sometime on Friday." Honestly, I am concerned about the quality once it is delivered with the trouble I have had even getting the furniture. I DO NO RECOMMEND THIS STORE. Go somewhere else. You can find the same furniture elsewhere with less hassle. I will update once I actually get my sofa and bed to let you know what it looks like. Mind you I have been in my brand new, first time owner, home since before May. I paid for the furniture in full in the middle of April . . . AGAIN, DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY.

This review is also false,since credit card payment is an option and we do not force anybody to make cash payments besides we keep close look to orders specially if there is an item in back order. Do NOT BE SCAMMED!!!!!!!

Lucy furniture does not even deserve 1 star. Customer Service my a**. We ordered our furniture and paid in full since February. It is now April and we are dealing with a nightmare. The dining room set arrive all scratched and dented up. The living room set was the wrong one. We have been hassling them about getting this all corrected and it's been almost two months now. They do not care about their CUSTOMERS!!!



Instead we are being charged extra money to have them deliver the correct furniture/replacement and additional money to pick up the wrong one. That's another $200 bucks on top of the $2000 we've already spent. They do not update you on the status of delivery. They do not inform you about anything. They don't answer phone calls. You have to constantly call to get information.



I am so pissed I spent a dime with these people. They are telling us we're at fault for getting the wrong furniture please!



Do not waste your time or money. Get it elsewhere. They sell furniture everyone else carries no special or ordinary pieces. You pay cheap only to get ripped off!!!

good price good people

i ordered a kitchen table from them. i got it when they said i would. they were very nice and accomidating. they also offered to find me pieces that were not on their website at a discounted price. thank god there are some people that still believe in customer service
