Technician literally RAN AWAY! (Groupon $55 for 5 rooms.)

First off, the guy pulls up in a van marked Wayne's Carpet Cleaning so obviously, Baby Soft farms out their jobs.

The guy walks in and looks around with his little UV light looking for pet stains and found them in a small closet. He offers to charge $60 for pet stain removal and I stated that I wasn't interested and to just clean the 5 rooms please. He said that he would need to speak with his manager to see if it was okay to just clean without treating??? The guy pulls out his phone, leaves the house and gets in his truck. I'm assuming he's speaking with his manager when he literally slams it into gear and floors it! The guy literally sped away!

Obviously, if Baby Safe cannot up sell a Groupon then they really aren't inclined to provide service. Hey Baby Safe! If you cannot afford to provide the service as it is outlined in a Groupon, then don't bother. A total BAIT and SWITCH company.

BIG COME ON. Had a $55.00 Groupon to do 5 rooms. Turned down the offer for cleaning for pets ($675.00). We only had a few small spots that were not even visible until highlighted with a black light. Asked them to just do the 'regular' cleaning. They went out to their truck to get things. I called my wife to let her know that they tried to up-sell us. When I looked out the window they were gone. Not even a goodbye. Calling Groupon to let them know. 0 stars.

Do NOT use Baby Safe Carpet Cleaning. I paid for a service to be used on Dec 31st. They were three hours late, then never showed. They agreed to call me to reschedule, but I never heard back. A week later, on Jan 6th, I spoke with the owner and requested a refund of my pre-paid service. He agreed and since then has claimed it was in the mail. My last conversation with him (three weeks ago), he said if I didn't receive the check the next day to let him know and he would deliver it to my house. I called back the next day and my number had been blocked. I have left messages on their voice mail for the last three weeks, and have never heard back. Please save yourself the headache and use any of the several other reputable carpet cleaning companies in the area.

I bought a carpet cleaning coupon via groupon for this company's carpet cleaning service. I attempted to schedule an appointment for months. They wouldn't return my calls for days on end. Then when they finally did, they did through a blocked number. That should have been the first red flag. The only reason an appointment was finally made was because I took a chance and answered the block call. Appointment number one was canceled 30 minutes before our scheduled time because his van broke down. No problem, things happen, right? We rescheduled 2 days later, early morning. I packed up the kids, moved my furniture around, vacuumed my home, and got ready. I was given a window of 7-9 in the morning. I texted Baby Safe at 9:15 to see if we were going to see them and guess what? The van is still broken down. I was then told I would receive a call on Monday to reschedule. I didn't. I sent a text towards the end of business hours to find out if we were still going to reschedule. Nothing back. The next day I decided that I had had enough. I sent a text asking if I could get a refund for my groupon. That provoked a response. I was told that the van was fixed and that they would come out and clean my carpets. When I asked for a refund instead I was instructed to contact groupon for a refund. Worst customer service ever. I'm not even sure how this company manages to stay in business with all these bad reviews. I know I'm not the only one who experienced this sort of bad business with them. I'm now dealing with groupon to get my money back and reporting them to the BBB. Just an overall awful experience.

Can I give a 0 score? Seriously, don't use this carpet cleaning company.!! I had a horrible experience with them.



The man who came to service our carpets, Edgar, broke two of the tiles on our bathroom floor after trying to replace the transition strip between our master bedroom carpet and the master bathroom. He, of course, didn't tell us about it. When we discovered the broken tile we called the "company" (which is owned by a guy named Robert... it's just the two of them!) and he refused to answer our calls. They have no mailing address and no email address, so there is no other way to contact them to get our $120 tile repair bill reimbursed for the damage they did while servicing the carpets. My husband and I have collectively called at least a dozen times and he never answers, and of course never calls back. I went to report it to the Better Business Bureau and, not surprisingly, they are not accredited with them.



Please take your business elsewhere!

I've used Baby Safe Carpet Cleaning approximately 4 times in the last 2 years. I was pleased with their cleaning service. The staff was very professional and they did a very good job compared to other major carpet cleaning business at a fraction of the cost. I've referred other family members to them as well.

I called baby safe today. My dog got sick last night. They came out same day and were able to remove the spots. They also removed some spots that another carpet cleaner could not get out. They were professional, uniformed, and most of all friendly. Thank you so much.
