Took my lab to Dr Johnson on June 2016 for him took at a fatty deposit on my lab's right thigh. Asked him if he could take cell from the limp to see if it were cancerous. He did a cystology in his office and advised me it wasn't cancerous. Previously, I'd taken my lab to another clinic I'd been using since I got the lab 7 years ago. The Vet at that lab said they could take a sample but would have to send the sample off to another laboratory. That lab would cost me $200 for its services. Dr Scott Johnson examined my pet, did a cystology and only charged $73. I also found my lab felt comfortable with Dr Jihnson. I appreciate Dr Johnson's communication skills. He is no effusive. He's polite but direct. His staff is also caring & efficient. Oct 4, 2016, I switched to Scott clinic. His clinic is more efficient, less expensive & not bureaucratic like the last which is part of a chain.

I an so disappointed in the service we have received here. The entire staff is kind and friendly. My complaint is with the vet. He has no personality and gives no information. I took my 10-year-old dog in to see him because she had lost a lot of weight and was obviously not feeling well. After blood work, he told me she was diabetic, had some sort of infection and the liver tests were off the charts. He wanted to keep her for a few days and start IVs, perform tests on her liver, etc. When I told him we couldn't afford all that, he left the room and I never saw him again! I left in tears and later called him to ask if putting her on insulin would be a good idea. He returned my call 2 days later. I had questions for him - what kind of symptoms should we watch for, etc. No information has ever been given without me asking specific questions. I had to call the office today to ask if my dog could be blind - something we just noticed this morning. Megan said it's possible - it can happen almost overnight. We had never been told of any side effects we should look for. After I told the Dr. that we couldn't afford more tests and we weren't willing to put our dog through surgery or chemo, he evidently lost interest in us. We are totally disappointed by the poor care we have received from Dr. Johnson and would definitely not recommend him as a vet for anyone's valued pet.

Worst Vet Ever

No good doesn't spend the necessary time on your pet. He looked at my boy for exactly four minutes and said nothing was wrong. My boy continues to limp
and lose fur two weeks later. Maybe if he spent more then 4 minutes he would be better now.
