Took my review off because I tried to give this place a second chance in hopes that things would change. If you're considering putting your family member in a nursing home or even on the assisted living side, choose anywhere BUT this place. The staff is awful and they don't know how to address situations properly. They are very rude and inconsiderate. They aren't even nice to the residents half the time. My grandmothers sheets are dirty quite often, and they never get changed unless I ask. I've been asked by a CNA to get bibs for the residents in the dining room when I don't even work here. I have not had one pleasant visit with my grandmother since she's been here. They neglect nearly all the residents. Today is my birthday and I had to cancel plans with my mother because yet again, there was a problem with the staff. If it were up to me, this place would have been shut down years ago.





NEW UPDATE: blaire house employees are very inconsiderate. Not only was I let go of a kitchen position for no apparent reason, but now supposedly I'm not allowed to visit my grandmothers old friends who live there. Only worked in the kitchen for about 4 hours. Funny how another former employee visited a few weeks ago and that was no problem. The new director is very rude. All the employees there are very inconsiderate, petty, and arrogant. Nice that they can break every other law in the book but I can't visit my friends there. Don't send your family here because if you get attached to anyone else, you'll never be able to see them again. This place should have a negative star rating for how terrible they are.
