The buffet items had no labels stating what the food items are. Food was just warm.some items to tough to chew.. the servers would hover over you until check was paid they acted like you were going to run out without paying.. will never eat there again.

Good food, but the manager (owner?) is incredibly rude and lacks any sense of good customer service.

I strongly recommend avoiding this place (which is now called the East Star Buffet), especially if you dont pay with cash. Otherwise, be prepared to be publicly humiliated and treated like a criminal if their card machine wont process your perfectly fine card. After spending about 10 minutes trying to process my payment, the manager points at my card and loudly proclaims No money! multiple times. I told them I would return in about an hour with cash because I had to drive to the north end of town to get my ATM card. The manager would not let me leave without first writing down my drivers license number and phone number. 40 minutes and $10 in gas later, I returned with cash in hand and a receipt from a gas station on the way showing the card I had tried to pay with does indeed work and have money on it. I reiterated with the manager how upset I was with the way they handled this situation and instead of taking responsibly for their actions they blamed the card machine.

I am so glad they are open. The food from the grill is amazing. You can't get that anywhere else in terre haute.
