Derrick A. Williams, the new owner of Yanny’s Pizzeria(soon to be rebranded as Infuse Restaurant) is a native of the Washington, DC area and has been a resident of Prince George’s County for over 30 years. He is a family man, married with 4 beautiful children. He attended High Point High School and held positions in the food service and in communications/IT industry. He is a successful entrepreneur, starting a few businesses including Proficient Communication, LLC., a small minority-owned, 8(a) pending, IT/Audiovisual and Logistical Support firm based in Upper Marlboro, MD, which he started in 2003. He was raised being involved in various community activities which taught him many valuable life skills. He played sports and was mentored by elders, who showed him how to perform odd jobs like mowing lawns and handyman skills. With this instilled in him, he knows the importance of giving back. He has volunteered on church committees and worked with non-profit organizations, including Lydia’s House, whose focus is strengthening families and supportingneighborhoods. While there, he successfully ran a mentoring program for underprivileged boys called “Boys to Men”. By running a successful business in Prince George’s County, he is looking forward to partnering with existing organizations to support community outreach activities as a way to continue to give back, and teach his children by example the importance of community service. Infuse Restaurant was a vision that was birthed from entrepreneur, Derrick Williams, mainly driven by his love of cooking while entertaining family and friends. The opportunity to expand his enjoyment of cooking into a restaurant was a fulfilling vision when Yanny’s Pizzeria was purchased on May 20, 2013. The vision is to bring a restaurant to the Camp Springs and Temple Hills area that offers afriendly, customer-centric environment to our patrons. Infuse Restaurant will continue to have its well-known favorites such asbrick-oven pizza and variety of marinated chicken wings. We plan on being a staple in the community that is dedicated to the improvement going on in Prince George’s County by offering job opportunities along with a great menu and environment.

This restaurant will have a chance of succeeding if it gets a better kitchen staff. Short cuts like having the sandwich meat prepackaged for each sandwich which leave the sandwich tasting old and cold still didn't help in delivering the sandwich in a timely manner. You can see that the owners are trying hard to make this restaurant work. What will work is a great kitchen.
