About Our Company T-J Roofing began operations in September of 1983, as a sole proprietorship owned by Tom and Sandi Swan. The company was sold to Mark and Diane Johnson on May 1, 2002. Mark had been Tom's right hand man for 19 years. We operate as a minority owned merit shop dealing in both the commercial and residential roofing markets. Our employees are paid hourly to ensure high standards of workmanship and quality on all of our projects. They are also provided with health insurance, paid holidays, vacation, a retirement plan and have biannual evaluations to provide a stable workforce. Sub contractors are not used for any of our roofing projects. During the winter months we provide snow removal services for both commercial and residential customers to help our employees keep a steady income year round when the weather does not allow roofing work to be done. We carry liability, workers compensation and vehicle insurance with certificates available upon request.
