My wife and I were driving up Scottsdale road to Scottsdale and saw La Fonda Mexican restaurant just past the 202, so we stopped in for lunch....WOW...um,um, good!



We both had the house Margarita, cost $5.50, and worth it....very good. I had the Guacamole and Bean Tostada, also very good, though it was messy to eat with such generous stacks of fresh stuff on it...I added salsa left from the free salsa and chips (also very good) and some hot sauce and salt and loved it, but I did go through four napkins. Donna ordered the small Nachos, which she couldn't stop raving about, so I helped her finish them, and I couldn't stop raving about them to her. We could have easily split the Nachos, as we both said we ate too much. The Nachos also had generous portions of Guacamole and beans and cheese etc and we can't wait to go back.



Donna also had a diet coke and the whole bill, including a $5 tip, was $31.70, which was really our big meal for the day.
