The worst wine testing experience!!!

The most expensive testing I've ever seen - up to $17 for 4 testings (comes to $3 for a few sips). I've never even seen anything like this even in Nor Cal which is way better for wines than So Cal. The waitress was not helpful or even nice. That is why 4 out of 14 of us refused to stay there. The rest of us regret that we stayed. The wine was TERRIBLE! Tasted like wines from Costco or Trader Joe's for $2 a bottle. I really mean it. I don't think I've had any Viognier or Chardonnay in my life than tasted worse than the ones in this winery.

We were not told anything about the winery or their wine during an hour spent there. In the end, the waitress added a gratuity of 18 % (over $22) for bringing us glasses of that terrible wine without even talking about it. When I said that we refuse to pay gratuity she started arguing that is what they normally do.

If this happens to you, you always have a right to refuse paying gratuity especially for poor service (like we had). So, of course, we did not pay the gratuity, but we still left the tip.

We all left disappointed. I guess none of 14 of us will ever come back.

Shame to this winery!!!
