I love the new owners!! Since Butterfield Ranch became part of San Diego Self Storage I couldn't be happier! They went from a good storage facility to a GREAT one! Excellent customer service and the managers are always there to help. I recommend to anyone looking for a convenient place to store their belongings.

The lady in the office was a little 'spacey'...I paid to move in, and then I got another bill on the 1st. They aren't like other places; the rent is due on the 1st of EVERY month...it was Ok I guess..

The staff were nice, the buildings were clean and I just liked the way they treated me.

When I came into the office, it smelled and looked really clean. The buildings were clean, floors swept and free of trash and debris.

Last year, my mom passed away after a long battle w/ cancer. I had no time during her illness to 'categorize' her life, to pack and prepare, as I was too busy just trying to get through the daily rituals of cancer-related living. I came in and needed a place to store her things, the pieces of her that I just wasn't ready to let go of yet; the staff were very warm and welcoming, took the time to listen to my story and show me several units that might work for my needs. I called first and then when I came in, decided that regardless of price, I was going to rent a unit from this facility. The office and grounds were clean and kept up, and as I said, the staff were just great. Turns out, they were really competitive in terms of price! I had my unit for six months and never had a problem. It gave me the time I needed to sort out my life after my mother's death. I would rent here again without question.

After calling around town all morning to find storage, the staff for this facility were really friendly, so I went in and took a look. It was a clean facility, everything was well kept up. Prices are mid-range; some places are less expensive, but they aren't as nice.

I looked around at all kinds of places; these guys were middle of the road in price, but the best when it came to service. They were really friendly and took the time to help me figure out the best size for my needs; I was going through a divorce and needed space immediately. When some places would have taken advantage of me, they just helped me get in and get out. It made my day a little easier.

I live in Wine Country and these guys are so close. Plus, they were willing to give me a good discount when I told them I'd be storing my stuff for at least six months...I've been with them a year now, and have never had any issues accessing my unit, and they are always just so nice when I come into the office. The facility is always pretty quiet and very clean, inside and out. I have no complaints!

This is a nice facility w/ really friendly staff...I had a great experience overall, and the price is right too! I called around town to ask about storage, and this place was the first group to actually invite me to see the facility in person, and then, when I got there, were just so nice and willing to answer any questions I had. I would recommend this place to anyone...
