Stay away from Hammer Moving. Our experience was a nightmare.
I packed many things myself but saved the valuable things that I was worried about for them to pack. Nothing that I packed got broken but many of the things they packed were broken. 4 lamps, a statue that was expensive to name a few. They broke one of the posters on our 4 poster bed. Too many things to list all.
We put our furniture in climate control storage. Things had gotten frozen and some things had water stains on them.
The head mover and packer that came was very unpleasant. kept complaining about how hard he was working and showed
up drunk at 9:30 in the morning.
Our settlement for thousands of dollars of damage was less then
$300.
Again, stay away from Hammer.

We used Hammer's for our local move and had no issues at all, even when we had to change our date twice! The office was very helpful and friendly as were the crewmen. Our total was as quoted and there was not a thing was damaged! Can't say enough good things about them!
