Beware of his wife who sometimes works in his office. She is a money hungry women. Her response to my insurance company covering 100% was, "They might pay 100% of regular charges, but not 100% of what we charge". WTH!!... I've had the same insurance for 20 years and have never heard a comment like that before. Stay away from Signature Smiles unless you enjoy being taken advantage of! FYI: They also came back with bogus X-rays on my husband, showing he needed all these cavities filled. When we matched up all the so called cavities to the X-ray, we noticed that over 3/4 of them were already filled. When I asked why he would need all these cavities filled when fillings are already in place from a previous Dentist, Dr. Nelson's wife responded, "oh, we'll we want to replace them all with porcelain". That should be an option to a customer. Why didn't she tell us that from the beginning? She made it sound like he had all these new cavities. This office banks $$$ on insurance companies. Money hungry business!. And Dr. Nelson's wife has trained her staff to do the same. Save you and your insurance company some money and go somewhere else. They are NOT top notch like their bogus claim says. Their so called awards are most likely through a paid corporation that feeds on business ratings through money.
