Walked into this establishment with a smile on my face and walked out disappointed. In the past I have purchased from Sigur's florist in Taylor, but unfortunately they closed when the owner passed. I decided to try Thrifty for a corsage, for an important dance. I walked in and immediately had to wait for almost a half hour, as they only had one person on staff. When I was finally assisted, and I attempted to order my corsage, I was basically scolded and told that I should have placed an order over a week ago. (the website, says they can do it in 24 hours). I proceeded to place my order for pick up the following day. It was rather expensive in comparison to the prices I have been viewing online. However, since it was such short notice, I went ahead and ordered my corsage. I was told I could pick it up the following day. I picked up the corsage. It was ready as they told me it would be. When my son picked up his date and attempted to place the corsage on her wrist, the carnations immediately fell apart onto the ground. They were not secured. My son's date, wore her "baby's breath" corsage with pride, it did not spoil her evening. But, this Mom will never visit this establishment again.
