They have a special where you can bring your car in and they’ll check the tires, rims, suspension etc for pothole damage. For free. I called once to ask, called the day I was going in to make sure they could fit me in. Low and behold when I got there the story changed to free if they don’t find anything, $45 if they find something and you don’t pay them to fix it, and free only if they fix it. I declined. Then the mechanic pointed to a man waiting, told me he came in for four tires but they ended up finding bad tie rods. This mans personal business!! I was not impressed. Classic bait and switch.

The mechanics are pretty good but the people at the service dpt are the problem especially the guy named Al he needs to learn how to treat the customers good think he was filling in for Joe that day other wise the place would not last . I would not ever go there again and tell every one I know to stay away what a bunch of rood dogs .

I just moved to the neighborhood and thought I'd check out my local auto shop. I'm happy I did, Ray and Al are the best great customer service! Ray took the time to explain everything and show me what was wrong with my truck. I came in for an oil change and now I have an awesome mechanic for life! They have great prices and speedy service! Ray didn't try to take advantage by getting me to fix everything he was making me aware of what work I need done. Redford auto mechanics are honest and great at what they do!

They try harder for your business, r straight down the line with repairs, have very fair prices, and do a good job. After calling around to have my rear brakes done, I chose this shop cause they gave me the best price. Ray, the manager and mechanic, did a great job. Didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need ... like new drums. He inspected mine and told me they were fine. And that he would look at my entire front end when I came in for a alignment next time just to make sure there was nothing causing my car to pull slightly to the right on rare occasions. I like mechanics who treat my car as if it were their car :) And give you a fair price right up front that doesn't change as the day goes on ...
