People told us the water was shallow but when we came in (tide table said we were 1' above mean low water) we never saw less than 7' of depth. The marina staff in the office were very helpful and knowledgable. The same for the yard/dock crew.... (Jimmie is the best ever). The marina is easy to find. Turn to starboard just east of "50" and stay between the red and greens. There's a sign on the left about 200' into the channel that tells you to turn left into Turtle Cove. This facility is really nice but it's a 'work in progress'. Ed the owner says Phase 3 will be done in the spring of 2014. Right now it's kind of a hike to the Clubhouse (where the pool, hot-tub, showers and laundry are) but they'll be building new heads, showers and laundry this year within feet of the transient docks. We travel thousands of miles a year on our sailboat and this is one of our favorite marinas. It's a couple of hundred yard walk to 'old Tarpon Springs' and the Sponge Docks. Oh, the best 'non-greek' food in town is at Rusty Bellies. One note, the Greek people in town will completely ignore you if they're speaking greek to their friends..... they'll take your money but you can tell you're a bother :-(
