We deal with BB&T on a weekly basis with business transactions. I had a customer that needed to get a check signed but the person was on "vacation" so he had to drive all the way to Rocky Mount to get this check signed (it is only 20 minutes away but this guy is a life long customer of ours). I call for a loan officer this morning. Guess what the lady says? The loan officer is on vacation this week do you want me to transfer you to our Rocky Mount branch? I am trying to give you my business as well but no one is there to make your company money? What kind of bank is this? This is twice we have tried to give them our business but no one has been there. Please get it together, get your loan officers off of salary or either put someone in that branch when one is going to be on vacation. Sounds to me as if BB& T doesn't want people's business or either they don't know how to work a schedule. I wish I could give negative (-1) stars. By the way we send BB& T at least 15 large transactions and speak highly of BB& T for financing. I have had a loan with them too and no problems. When someone tries to give you business you don't turn them away just good food for thought. YOU FIGURE OUT A WAY TO GET THE MONEY, IF NOT THEY GO ELSEWHERE AND LET SOMEONE ELSE EARN THEIR BUSINESS.
