Tampa Museum of Art, 120 W. Gasparilla Plaza in Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, displays permanent and major traveling exhibitions with a focus on modern and contemporary art. The 66,000-square-foot building is encased in perforated aluminum panels accented by Leo Villareal's “Sky,” an LED light display. Permanent collections include Greek and Roman antiquities as well as contemporary art in such mediums as oil paintings, lithographs, photography and sculpture.
