Took my vacuum cleaner to a closer repair shop for a simple plug-up. Because I wouldn't OK an entire overhaul, the owner told me I would have to leave it for a week. I have a houseful of animals so that didn't fly. I found this shop online and have been going there ever since. The owner is fast, reliable, does only what I authorize, and is inexpensive. Moreover, he's sincerely nice. Who could ask for more than that?

Needed a belt for an old vacuum. Quick, friendly, and inexpensive install. FYI, they have lots of cheap ($25) older vacuums for sale. When this one dies, I'll be back.

The man who runs this business as of today, October 19, 2013 is the most lazy, unreliable person I believe I have ever met. Took my vacuum to him to be serviced and he said to pick it up in a week. Called him because a week went by and I had not heard anything from him. He had no clue what I was talking about, started telling me that he had to order parts for it but he wasn't sure what was needed until he finished pulling it apart. WHAT? He then told me that it could be another 2 weeks before he knows what is wrong with it. NOTHING was wrong with it but the man has dismantled my $700 vacuum that I took in for a cleaning. I can't even pick it up because he has it in pieces. All he was supposed to do was clean the filters and the dust from the parts. Now my perfectly operating machine is in the hands of a mad man. When I told him that I just wanted a service and needed my vacuum back, he got attitude with me and told me that I would get it back when he is ready to give it back. HE IS HOLDING MY VACUUM HOSTAGE! All I have is a little yellow ticket with a number on it. No other proof that I own the vacuum that is now a pile of ruble. Very upset as I have no clue what to do at this point. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO SERVICE YOUR VACUUM. Don't want anyone else to have this experience.
