My daughter rents a home and the master bath started leaking. A plumber determined that there was mold in the walls of the shower and closet.They needed two estimates. I opened the house and met with them. The property manager chose EPS against my recommendation. The workers came two days in a row but goofed off and went for meals etc. and shopping. My husband was there both days. In the two days, they worked a total of six hours and had quickly covered up part of the shower with cement board. My grandson, daughter and I got sick from the mold. She stopped the work and got an independent person in to check the mold. It was determined that EPC had not done what they needed and there was still mold in the walls. They had to come back, undo what they had done, and clean it again. The whole process took 2 months. The owner said he would come back to check the job that his guys did. It has been over 3 weeks and we have not heard from him. No master bath or bedroom for two months.
