CTL Distribution of Mulberry, Fla., founded in 1964, began as a bulk carrier primarily servicing the Central Florida phosphate industry. Now, CTL is the dominant carrier for the local phosphate and fertilizer industry servicing C.F. Industries, Cargill Fertilizer, Farmland Hydro, IMC Agrico, Mulberry Corp., U.S. Agri-Chemicals and Agrifos. CTL is a member of Comcar Industries, a family of companies in the nationwide chemical hauling business servicing the 48 contiguous states and Canada. CTL s customer base includes major chemical shippers, such as Ashland Chemical, McWhorter Angus Chemical, Dow Chemical, Uniroyal, Buckman Labs and Georgia Pacific. CTL has terminals in Jacksonville and Tampa, Fla.; Atlanta and Savannah, Ga.; Mobile, Ala.; St. Gabriel and Sterlington, La.; Pasadena and Freeport, Texas; and Memphis, Tenn.
