This place is fine if you are going to an event. However, as a business person booking a room for an event, they are not professional and not true on their word.

First, I booked the room, where I was told I was going to receive the rental agreement that same day. Meanwhile, I didn't receive the rental agreement until a week later. Because I was waiting on the agreement, it was recommended to me to not promote my event until I received it. After my event, no one even cared enough to be available, even though, it was over during business hours.

Second, they require a refundable $300 deposit to book any room, which is supposed to be returned within 30 days after the event.

After the organization emails me, where the monies was promised back to me weeks ago, over 30 days later, I am still waiting for the refund. My emails on this have not been returned nor has the money. DO NOT book a room with them if you are planning an event. To book a room with Carrollwood Cultural Center may be considered inexpensive in the Tampa area, however, it is more worthwhile to pay more money somewhere else to know you will not have to deal with the hassle.
