I hoped to be a new patient, but had to call 3x to get an appt. I could only get one late this pm, although they knew my pain level was 7-8 out of 10. On the phone, they said they accepted my insurance. When I arrived, staff's 1st priority was to meet with me to discuss what my insurance would cover - NOT to get me in front of a health professional. It turns out they are "OUT OF NETWORK FOR EVERY PROVIDER", which they failed to mention on the phone. They require a payment to a 3rd party group to reduce their "normal" $800 charge for the first visit down to $150, which is 6x my regular copay, and quite ridiculous. Twice (both this am and at appt) I tried to address my health/insurance concerns with their staff but was cut-off from speaking so they could tell me more about their policies. I am a stay-at-home mom of a toddler, and have occasional intense low back pain. This chiropractor is nearby, has a beautiful office and I REALLY wanted to like them. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT.
