We had this company do an office move. They arrived 5 hours late. During the load our furniture was damaged. When the trailer was loaded they asked us to pay for the partial move and said we must pay for 3 workers. One of the gentleman that arrived was very experienced and the other 2 were not. One of the 2 helpers happened to be a pregnant female. She did nothing because she was 1. Unable to lift anything and 2. Outside smoking the whole time. The female helper happened to be the girlfriend of the 2nd inexperienced helper. When they asked for partial payment I explained that we did not receive 3 helpers we in fact only had 1 and a half. Jason said he understood and said that he still had to charge me and that the owner would call me the following day to adjust the rate. The owner never called me. At delivery the men dropped the my desk off of the truck. Then they still brought the desk into the office and dropped it into a window again damaging the desk more and shattering a window.

I trusted these guys to move and re-felt an 8ft pool table and it was totally botched! My pool table was damaged due to careless disassembly and moving, the felt was damaged due to using the pool table slate (with new felt on it) as a work table and they ran out of felt and had to STAPLE pieces together on the bumper! The pockets are crooked and to top it all off, after more than a week of attempting to work with them and give another chance to come out and fix it, I was told by them to "call the bank and get my money back". Ridiculous! If there was a 0 star I would give it!

This is our first time booking big reds moving company and it was a wonderful experience. Jason was really good and did a great job. We would definitely call big reds movers again if needed.

Ahead of schedule, properly wrapped and packed everything and delivered ahead of schedule. Professional staff and work. Highly recommended.

Great moving experience... They showed up on time (actually, a few minutes early), the guys were very polite, efficient, worked well together, and were very organized and careful in how they wrapped my stuff and packed the truck. When unpacking, they were very careful and asked what room to put everything in. The whole process to move a 3-bedroom place plus a lot of stuff in storage took less than 5 hours. The owner or manager was very good about returning my emails, and he called to confirm the appointment and make sure they had the correct tools. He also called to let me know when they would be arriving and to make sure that the guys were doing a good job. I was nervous because of a co-workers bad experience with this company a few years ago with a Groupon deal, but it appears that they have gotten their stuff together and are doing very well.

HORRIBLE. CANNOT RELY ON. Called weeks in advance of when I needed to move and gave all my information; called a few days before the move to just double-check to make sure that everything was good to go and THEY HADN'T EVEN PUT MY INFORMATION IN THE SYSTEM WHEN I CALLED WEEKS BEFORE. If I hadn't called to make sure they were coming, I would've been without a moving service... well, I shouldn't even bothered, because I had to call another moving company last minutes on the day I was moving at 8PM because these jerks didn't even show up! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. WORST SERVICE.

These guys are great, they really saved me and my family, moving was just too tough for us so we called big reds moving to ask if they could come help us move, they came the same day! They wrapped everyting fast and and they are very curtious movers, they even moved our piano perfectly which i had no idea how to move my mothers antique piano. These movers were great, I will use them next time I move.

They were able to fit us in for a last-minute move, were extremely polite, hard-working, respectful of belongings, and arrived on time. I would definitely use them again & recommend others do so!

I used big red's for a one bedroom apt. They were on time, really nice and helpful. It took about an hour and a half and nothing got broken. They were able to maneuver furniture into my tricky house set up without any problems. I would definitely use them again.

Big Red's Moving was professional and courteous when presented with the challenge of moving large furniture through the narrow space of my antique doorways. They took special care while moving furniture across newly finished hardwood floors. One member of the staff has more than 20 years of experience and anticipated any complication that may occur. I would recommend their services to my friends.

**********WORST MOVING COMPANY IN HISTORY***********

Let's just start off by saying that my move was scheduled for Friday (21 Oct) and as of today (Oct 24th), my things still have not been moved from the old place. Not only have my things not been moved (because the movers NEVER arrived), but I've not received any response to my numerous phone calls and VM messages explaining why. I even sent an email on Friday evening explaining that its unacceptable for a company to be a "No Show" 3 hours after the scheduled appointment time and received a response the next morning. What did the person say, "Well I know that they may be a little late, but sometimes the previous move runs long. When the movers arrived were you at least satisfied with the job that they did?" What???!!! So its okay for them to be super late, without a call to say so, but how did they do once they got here. No way. Well once I responsed letting the person know that no one EVER arrived, of course I got NO reply. Well after 3 days of sleeping on the floor and still no response from this company, I guess our only option at this point is to pay another company to move our things. I just pray that I'm able to get a refund for the services paid for quickly.



AGAIN, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Take this as a warning---DO NOT USE BIG RED MOVING!

On Friday, October 7th I had a 10:00 a.m. appointment with Big Reds Moving (BRM) and at 10:15 am there were no movers. I decided to give BRM a call. Once the call was answered it was as if they had any idea of my appointment or any details of the move that was discussed. The guy who answered the phone lied to me saying that he had contacted my sister and left a message to say that the movers would be late. My sister did not have any messages and did receive any calls from BRM until after I called the company to see when the movers would arrive. After speaking with my sister I called BRM to let the guy know that I knew that he was lying and of course he denied it. Anyway, at this point I was very frustrated with BRM, since I had requested the day off from work and scheduled another delivery around the assumption that I would be moved by 1:00PM. BRM told me that he was looking to see what they can do because the crew had a move in Atlanta and should have been at my apartment but was supposedly in route. He also said that he would look into having someone at my place late in the afternoon to move me, since companies in the area trade jobs all the time. Needless to say all this happened prior to 11:15 am. I tried to be somewhat patient but did not hear back from BRM, so I started calling back around 12:45 pm since they were not professional or courteous enough as a business to call me. I called numerous times and left two messages as I was only able to speak with the answering machine. Finally, at 3:20 p.m. almost five and a half hours later, after an entire day wasted I received a call about my move from BRM letting me know that they were in Georgia (I cannot remember if it was Albany or Macon) with the movers who were having mechanical issues with the moving truck. BRM had not called me before a trip was made to Georgia to let me know that more than likely I would not be moved as expected. The guy went on to tell me that he had to drive his personal vehicle (like I care). He did let me know that he had scheduled me with some company that I had called and did not want to use from the start and that it would late Saturday. The only good out of this was that I was able to cancel BRM services and was not charges the $50.00 cancellation fee. If you are looking for movers…call Adam’s Moving… do not look at Big Reds Moving.

DO NOT USE BIG RED'S. After showing up hours late with no apology, they broke several pieces of furniture after the move. They failed to even bring a simple wrench to take apart our bed - after they told us they would take apart what they needed to for the move. Then they continued to charge us for the time it took for me to go get one, while they sat around doing nothing. I have called the owner at least weekly for the past 3 months, and he refuses to even do me the courtesy of returning my phone calls. I've even written letters explaining the problem in detail. After one letter, an employee called back, but he said he didn't have the authority to authorize an insurance claim. He claimed they had insurance, but if they do, it's puzzling why they won't call me back. I even went to Big Red's address, and no one would come to the door. By the way, this address seems to be wrong. The correct address, as listed on Sunbiz, is 1515 Viscount Ave. Tallahassee, FL 32304.

We have used Big Red's Moving 3 times in the last year within the city limits of Tallahassee. Their dedication to hard work and their desire to save us money is their hallmark. We found them to be personable, reliable, hard working as well as trustworthy with our personal belongings. Wrapping up furniture and boxing up items led to absolutely no damage each time we moved. They went out of their way to get the job done on time without any delays. We will use them again and recommend them highly!

This is the first time I ever used this company to move my furniture, they showed up on time, protected all my furniture, and carefully moved everything, They were were so nice to me on the phone, and in person. I will defiantly use this company for all my future moves!



Plus, this is the cheapest bill I ever received from a Moving Company, "very affordable"

I moved this past week and the movers showed up a little late only about 30 minutes so it wasn't really a problem. They loaded my stuff knocking a decorative piece off my bed which wasn't a huge problem but then when my stuff arrived and they unloaded it it was a mess. Boxes had tumbled all through the truck and my stuff had gotten really scratched I then watched them scrape the top edge of my wooden dresser along the concrete which was painful to see. I was impressed that my glass tops made it here in one piece, but the rest of my furniture was scratched up pretty bad. Scratched items included my coffee table frame, my bed headboard and footboard, the dresser and even the nightstand, and a picture frame. I commented that I was surprised that they could move glass without breaking it but they couldn't manage to not scratch my furniture all up and they didn't seem to care they were like yeah well we cushioned the glass. One of the guys even looked at my picture that was scratched cause it's a football memorabilia picture and was like that's really cool, and I said yeah it was cooler before it was all scratched and he was like yeah the other guy wrapped it. The banister in my new apartment got scratched as well from the trying to push the sofa up the stairs and then there is scuff on the wall from something else being moved which I hope I will be able to just touch up.

So if you don't care about your stuff getting scratched up or slightly damaged then go for it but if you actually like your stuff I would try and find another moving company that actually cares.
