This restraunt is fenominal! They have the best noodle dishes, and their Poo Poo platter is to die for! Try the sizziling rice soup is also amazing. This is a great place, with great atmosphere, I definetly recomend you try it.

Being new to Tacoma I found this place on Google and I will return, in fact I went back the very next day. The General Tso's Chicken is great,Spicy and full of flavor, crispy chicken.Lots of sauce. Large portions. The Hot and Sour soup is good too.Thick broth filled with tofu chunks,egg and veggies. The food is Better than average and I think the cost was average.

I am an asian who lived in China and loves Chinese food, so I am not kidding around. The food was good, the delivery was incredibly fast (it got here a full 25 minutes before scheduled--only took 20 minutes from phone call to my house) and I was happy with the customer service. The only detractor is I like really spicy food, I ordered the utmost spice level and the food fell far short of that. But hey--you can always pour chili pepper on it if you are so inclined. I heartily recommend this restaraunt.

i work for the post office as a city carrier and have eaten at every chinese or teriyaki place in 9 different zip codes. lets put it this way, if you get a fortune cookie at the end of your meal... chances are ive eaten there. north china garden is the best food for the best value... by far...i've paid much more for far worse food. the portions are huge. the owner is great, and always there. the food is ecxellent and fast, the wonton soup is wonderful. i go out of my way to eat lunch there on many occasions.when you go, get the beef broccoli. it is the best thing on the menu. the aroma of garlic is in your nose before you even open the container. what more can i say? except this... if the person that reviewed north china garden prior to mine disliked it so much then why did they eat there repeatedly? they may have had some bad experiences with the water glass or not liked the owner, but they liked the food. or they wouldn't have kept coming back :)

I'm from the east coast and this is the most authentic Chinese food around. Great atmosphere, service and location too.

About average quality Chinese take-out. The delivery person was very friendly and the food arrived hot and fairly decent (about 35 minutes). I had to pay a slight fee for being more than 3 miles from the restaurant, but i can't find any other delivery anyway. The potstickers were only cooked on one side. Our main dishes were all delicious. I would order here again.

These folks make the best Kung Pao chicken I've ever had. The family meals are a little different from most Chinese restaurants, however. You typically get one piece of pork per person (instead of a plate of it), an eggroll, a potsticker (which is really good, comparitively), some rice and soup. We typically order 2 meals and it feed our family of 5. Takeout is typically 30 minutes faster than delivery, although we've had deliveries in as little as 15 minutes (to our surprise). The prices seem a little higher than most Chinese restaurants, but the quality is much better. The lunch specials are a superb value. The folks that run the place are very friendly and tend to remember just about everyone.

This restaurant has friendly service, but the food was only average. The portions are large, but it's a little pricey, so the value was only so-so.

The family meal is a good deal + 2 potstickers, 2 small egg rolls, a few pieces of BBQ pork, dipping sauces, 2 soups, a scoop of rice, and your choice of two entrees seems to feed our family of 2 adults and 1 child quite well, with leftovers for next day+s lunch. We choose to pick-up our order, and service is a little confused + one time they told us it would be 45 minutes. When my husband arrived 10 minutes early, the food was already waiting. We think they may be a little confused about the difference between take-out and delivery timelines. Anyway, our next order was ready in 20 minutes. Tip: try the triple fragrance!
