My wife and I had been searching for a wood stove recently and after visiting several shops, we visited your store. From outset, it was friendly and inviting. We felt very comfortable and as we browsed through the shop, we finally located a stove which was to our liking. A very qualified salesperson, Christian, answered our questions with knowledge and respect. Without too much doubt, we decided to trust Fircrest Hearth and Home with our selection. The ordering of the stove was accurate and the installation was handled in very excellent fashion. There was a problem in assembly in connecting our firebox to our stovepipe, and the installers contacted Christian who brought the part from the shop so that assembly could be completed. We were very impressed for him to do the extra service We have used our wood stove now several times now and are enjoying warmth and comfort in our home. We are happy to recommend this seller for those who desire honesty and truth in a sales professional and will continue to trade with this firm

A friend of mine recommended Fircrest Hearth and Home to me about 5 years ago and I bought a fireplace for our living room from them. Their selection was great, we found something we really liked, and we liked how friendly and competent everyone is. I'm now looking to add a gas stove in our basement room and Wade the owner came out to Des Moines to figure out what stove would work in the tricky corner that we have. He got back a very reasonable bid to me of all the parts and gave me an estimate of what an installer would charge. I use this company again and highly recommend them.

We recently purchased a gas fireplace for our bedroom from Fircrest Hearth and Home. We shopped around at several places before we went there and clearly Wade was the guy we wanted to do business with. He patiently walked us through all we needed to know about all the different models until we settled on the right one for us. He visited our home, gave us the estimate and acted as the contractor for the framer and installer. They all did an outstanding job and we're extremely pleased with our fireplace. It's perfect and the process was so painless! I highly recommend them when you're looking to install a fireplace.

I was truly impressed with the look and feel of the store. Everything was neat and clean; due to the creative layout of the store, it was easy to find what I wanted. The displays were grouped by type: Gas, Wood, Pellet, and Electric - as well as an area showcasing the amazing "Big Green Egg" cooking system. The employees were very knowledgeable and eager to answer any questions I had. My favorite display in the fireplace section was the gas log pit. The pit contained a selection of log displays that could be "fired up" (at the flick of a switch) to actually experience the unique flame characteristics of each configuration! Pictures of the owner's family adorned the walls and mantles, along with various furniture, giving the store a "cozy home" feel to it. The owner, Wade Winslow, treated me like family (as well as the other customers) and offered honest answers for any questions that were asked. If there was a request for something he didn't have, he either offered to special order it - or told you who might carry it, if he couldn't get it for you. I highly recommend this business to all my family and friends in Washington.
