Avoid Nelson's Plumbing. I wanted to try to support a local business as I live in Syracuse and they were nothing but awful to deal with. I set up a time to have them come by and give me an estimate on finishing the plumbing in our basement bathroom. 10 minutes before they were to show up they called and cancelled.They stopped by the next day and said they would have a bid for me by the end of the day. 10 days later, and multiple phone calls I was able to get the bid. They said they would install the toilet for free for me and charge me $500 for the rest of the work.I scheduled them to come and do the work, that morning they called to say they wouldn't be there until the next day. The work was completed and the next day I walk downstairs to find that they didn't sauder the pipe to the bath very well and there was a nice little flood in my basement. I spent 3 hours cleaning it up before they finally showed up to fix the leak. When I received the invoice in the mail I was shocked to see they charged me full price for their shoddy work, and billed me $89 extra for installing the toilet. I called and spoke with one of the Nelson brothers and explained the situation and he would not budge on the price. He decided to throw in that if I didn't pay the bill he would put a lien on my home. He was very rude and unprofessional. DO NOT GIVE THIS SCUM BAG COMPANY YOUR BUSINESS, YOU WILL REGRET IT.
