i have to say that i didn't look at the reviews prior to work, but am pleased to see they are all 5 star! i agree! Christian was very responsive to my inquiries, prompt and efficient, which was a pleasant surprise. in today's day and age it's not often you find a company of such quality, and their staff is just as high quality. the 2 men were so helpful, patient, and efficient. they showed up on time, were pleasant, and worked very well together. my floors look amazing! i can't wait to have someone ask me if i know how to get their wood floors refinished....i'll definitely be referring them to Mr. Sandless!

Mr. Sandless live up to their ratings! We have not had our floors sanded in over 8 1/2 years since we moved into our home and with three active border collies and a direct entryway onto our wood floors we were unsure how they would turn out! To our satisfaction the floors turned out fabulous!!!! The degree of professionalism by their staff was remarkable! Could not have asked for any better, service is refreshing. Great way to go if you don't want the mess of sanding and being displaced for days!! Highly recommend and will boast of their quality work and attitude!!!

The perfect stress free solution for refinishing of your floors. And all the other services that they provide lucky for us we met someone who used Mr. Sandless four years ago and raved about his professionalism, neatness, politeness, and most of all a great job he and his crew had done in their home. Well it was all true and a lot more. This is a service company that truly does what it says it will do. A true professional in the service industry promptly returning phone calls, promptly with price quotes and explanations, promptly showing up on time and completing in the timeframe they say they will.

All of our wall-to-wall carpeting we had replaced in our home twice but are not the original owners. We had no idea what we would find underneath this carpet. We had gotten several prices on sanding and polyurethane and knowing we would have to be out of the house for three or four days because of the polyurethane older and all the cleaning after the sanding was done was not the greatest of options . Mr. Sandless is a service that is in and out the same day with no odor. It's hard to believe but it's true. Here is just one example of their professionalism. I decided to rip up the carpet myself to save a few dollars(total wrong move which my body told me days) and found three small areas where I figured the four had to be replaced. Mr. Sandless came in and said no only to will have to be replaced the third area will come out fine. Which once finished it was. Just not alone shows you the integrity of this company. I could go on and on about Mr. Sandless and his crew but in this day and age it was a true pleasure to deal with this company. Once the floors were completed and I saw the way they perform their work I had them do additional services that they provide all to our total satisfaction. Do yourself a favor call Mr. Sandless. And take it from someone who did don't rip up your own carpet and staples.

Floor came out great! They really took their time to get my floor back in shape. The gentlemen answered all my questions and kept the area very neat and clean. I highly recommend them. Great customer service too!

Mr. Sandless is a franchise business that has developed a very efficient way to handle the normally extremely and time consuming job of refinishing floors. They do offer more services than only refinishing but this is the service I have requested and can speak to at this time.



The Owner, Christian was extremely polite and professional. It took some to arraign a date primarily b/c of the Easter Holiday and my inability to find time to be available . He worked with and scheduled the job for a Saturday afternoon ,after having several other appointments throughout his morning. That is a rarity in and of itself to find a business owner prepared to tackle the job himself on a weekend and in a tight timeframe.



When Chris arrived with his courtesy associate they tackled the job straight on. Chris noted and informed me of potential trouble spots to the job. Let me detail that, the job was to refinish a staircase. The original trends were of pine and newly replaced treads were of Oak. New handrails, balusters and treads were unfinished . Chris' concern was the ability to match the finish between the different woods while also tiring into the uniformity of the Oak hardwood floors on the ground level. Also another trouble was the transit step at the top of stairs that in rather shoddy looking shape.



Long story short- the job was excellently completed in a fraction of the time and of money than any other floor finishers were quoting for this job. To top it off, there was absolutely no dust or clean up required after Chris and his associate left.



Without hesitation I would re hire Mr. Sandless of Syossett again.

My kitchen & hallway floors were in the worst visible condition you could imagine. This was caused by over the years using the Mop & Glos, Future & the worst product of all Rejuvenate. In the beginning the floors looked great for about a day or two but eventually it started stripping the varnish & the end result was horrific. I started to believe there was no hope except for sanding with all the dust or worst case scenario replacing which would have been a pretty penny. I started to do some research online & came across Mr. Sandless & was thrilled that there was a solution. I called them immediately. The owner, Christian was extremely professional & took the time to discuss how it works. When we finally scheduled the appointment, his staff was punctual and professional. The whole process took several hours & the guys literally put sweat & grit into making the result an absolute miracle. My floors came back to life & I was beyond amazed of the transformation. I couldn't believe how quickly it dried. It's been about a month since they've been done & the floors still look like glass. I was so impressed that i had them come back & do the landing on my second floor. ...same result, same satisfaction. I highly recommend Mr. Sandless & his staff, you will not be disappointed. This place was wonderful.I contacted them last week and was able to get a appointment in a couple of days.They where on time and the end result was wonderful.I got my floors done 8 years ago by another place and wasn't to happy with the price or results.I must say the end result with mr. Sandless is unbelievable.It looks like I have a basketball court.I recommend there services to anyone

More than happy with the results of my newly finished wood floors.Chris was very friendly and proffesional about his service,and I can't say enough about the two young men he has working for him,they were most helpful and pleasant from start to finish.I had my bedroom,hall, and stairs beautifully finished without the use of toxic chemicals.If carpets need to be pulled up,do have them remove it because it is labor intensive.They worked clean and were organized from start to fisnish. I will certainly reccomend them to friends and family.

I needed to refinish the hardwood floors that were underneath the carpet in my condo. I cannot begin to express how happy I was to work with Chris and his team. He went WELL above and beyond what I could have ever expected. He was extremely honest, very helpful, and even followed up with e-mails after he finished explaining how to care for it etc. I would highly recommend Chris/ Mr. Sandless Long Island for anyone who is thinking of refinishing their wood floors without the mess of having sawdust everywhere.

I used these guys because I was on a budget and getting my hardwood floors done the traditional way was very expensive and I needed to be out of the house for a few days. The guys came, did a wonderful job, actually did some extra work to make the new wood identical to the old wood in shade. It looks amazing and was a fraction of the cost and was no mess!

Chris and his guys from Mr. Sandless did our LR, DR and long hallway this past weekend. I was given the idea to use him from a random person who I see on the LIRR, who saw this company used on HGTV. I called the number on LI and when Chris explained that the process takes only one day and is non-toxic, I was pretty much sold. I have a parrot, and if I were to use traditional sanding and varnishing, I would have to move the bird out of the house and the process would have taken days. My bird stayed in the back room the entire time and my husband and I were amazed at the transformation from awful carpet and linoleum covered oak, to shiny, beautiful floors! I cannot thank Chris enough and I highly encourage you to check this company out if you are ever considering restoring or refinishing your hardwood.

This service was amazing- the owner is professional, kind and nice. My 80 year old oak floors look GREAT and they dried in hours not days! AMAZING!!!!!

I wanted to remove my carpeting and have my hard wood floors refinished but didn't want to go through the sanding process and toxic fumes from a polyurethane finish. I searched the internet and to my surprise found “ Mr. Sandless”. I immediately called the number in my area and spoke to Chris, who was delightful to deal with. He thoroughly explained the process and cost to my satisfaction, and we proceeded to make an appointment to have the work done. The process took several hours, furniture didn’t have to be removed from the premises, and the results are nothing short of amazing! No sanding, no fumes, and the finish dried in 20-30 minutes. I highly recommend this company and its owner!
