Established in 1962, Sweet Home Junior High School is governed by Sweet Home School District 55. The school serves approximately 400 students in grades seven and eight. It offers several sports activities, such as volleyball, football, basketball, wrestling, and track and field. Sweet Home Junior High School s curriculum features English, science, math, language arts, social studies, and technology, health and physical education. The school provides special education classes for students with physical and developmental disabilities. Sweet Home School District 55 also operates several elementary and high schools. The school district includes Sweet Home High School, Crawfordsville Elementary School, Foster Elementary School and Oak Heights Elementary School.
